Bo Tian is a Postdoctoral Research Fellow at the School of Materials Science and Engineering at Nanyang Technological University (NTU). He received his BSc in Physics from Xiamen University in 2015 and earned his PhD in Materials Science and Engineering from King Abdullah University of Science and Technology (KAUST) in 2022. In 2023, Dr. Tian was awarded the Outstanding PhD Thesis Award of the Carbon Journal Prize by Elsevier. From 2023 to 2024, he served as a research associate and visiting scientist at KAUST.
Dr. Tian has published over 20 research papers in prestigious journals, including Nature Materials, Nature Communications, Advanced Materials, and Advanced Science. He is a member of the Editorial Advisory Board of Carbon and a referee for more than 20 peer-reviewed journals including Nature Nanotechnology, Nature Communications, Advanced Electronic Materials, Materials Today Chemistry, Carbon, Applied Physics Letters, Materials Science and Engineering R: Reports, etc. Currently, his research interests encompass physics, CVD growth, 2D materials, van der Waals heterostructures, and artificial intelligence.
