Bo Tian

Research Fellow at NTU

Dr. Bo Tian is a Postdoctoral Research Fellow at the School of Materials Science and Engineering, Nanyang Technological University (NTU), Singapore. He received his BSc in Physics from Xiamen University and his PhD in Materials Science and Engineering from King Abdullah University of Science and Technology (KAUST). Dr. Tian’s research focuses on the CVD growth of 2D materials, low-dimensional physics, van der Waals heterostructures, and the application of artificial intelligence in materials science.

Dr. Tian has authored over 20 papers in leading journals such as Nature Materials, Nature Communications, Advanced Materials, and Advanced Science. He was awarded the Outstanding PhD Thesis Award (Carbon Journal Prize) by Elsevier in 2023. He serves on the Editorial Advisory Board of Carbon and Carbon Neutralization, and is an invited reviewer for more than 30 peer-reviewed journals, including Nature Nanotechnology, Nature Communications, and Advanced Materials.
